The French Network of Biosphere Reserves represents a high level of diversity whether geographic, ecological, social or cultural. Enriched by their differences and working in various human and institutional contexts, the Biosphere Reserves do, however, have to face similar problems, giving meaning to the programmes of collaboration established.
